what is the theme?
This zine is sketchbook themed — a focus on the relationship between Aether and Albedo as seen through the eyes of the artists that create content for their relationship.
why a sketchbook theme?
Our vision is to showcase the creativity and individuality of Aether/Albedo content creators in a way that is uncut and refreshing. Imagine ripping a page out of each of their sketchbooks and gluing it here. Sketches hold so much personality and imagination and deserve to be displayed as much as their rendered counterparts.This project will also feature a collection of fanfic, as so many writers lead the way for Aether/Albedo content in our spaces. These writers are the glue that piece together one of a kind, new ideas with our familiar, beloved pairing.

contributor application guidelines
ARTISTS
Portfolio must contain a minimum of four (4) samples of your favorite work
SFW and NSFW portfolios must be separated and labeled accordingly. NSFW portfolios must follow the same guidelines
All of your samples must be sketches in the style you plan to use for this zine
At least two (2) of your samples must be of Aether and/or Albedo
Portfolios may be in the form of google drive links, websites, etc
If you are applying for a comic artist position, please include at least one (1) of your favorite comic works
All samples in your portfolio must be drawn by you
Portfolios will be judged based on your sketch style. Please keep in mind that this is a sketchbook themed zine, so lined and rendered pieces should not be included in your portfolio
Your submissions will be judged based on composition, grasp of personal style, and how well they fit with the theme
WRITERS
Portfolio must contain a minimum of two (2) samples of your favorite work
SFW and NSFW portfolios must be separated and labeled accordingly. NSFW portfolios must follow the same guidelines
All samples must be 5000 words or less
Samples can be one shots or excerpts from longer fics
If only two samples are included in your portfolio, then both samples must be aebedo/albether. If more than two samples are included, then only two must be aebedo/albether
Portfolios may be in the form of fanfic site links, google doc links, etc
All samples in your portfolio must be written by you
Your submissions will be judged based on characterization, storytelling, flow, grammar, and content

Switch dynamics are welcome This zine is not strictly one dynamic. Both aebedo and albether content are welcome here. Discourse will not be tolerated.
Canonverse or AU Both. Either. Up to the individual artists. Both are welcome.
Age requirement You must be at least 16 years old to be a contributor and must be at least 18 years old to be a contributor for any NSFW add-on.
